Maybe it’s our human nature. Let’s face it we like to compete. Whether it is in the classroom, at work, or on the field, us non-athletes like to compete. When it comes to working out at the gym do you find yourself looking around at your fellow  sweaters and get that urge deep inside to push yourself just a little harder on an exercise machine? That’s competing. When you are jogging down the street and another jogger comes up from behind you out of nowhere and passes you, do you get a little more hop in your step? That’s competing. We have a neighbor who is a very peculiar kind of person.  He has brought up his daughters under the strictest of conditions.  Even making them where sunglasses every time they go out side. Apart from their college hours, he ensures that he keeps a vigil on all their activities.  At first we thought since the girls are extremely beautiful to look at, their father is being overprotective of them, much to the embarrassment of those girls. There are about fourteen apartments in our building. Barring some two tenants who are yet to occupy, and one apartment which is yet to be sold all other owners are living in their respective apartments.  All of us vibe beautifully with one another and it is a routine thing to exchange our camping equipment and ideas that we would have imbibed from TV programs or from any other source.  We all live like one big family, caring and sharing. Two years ago we decided to invest in a greenhouse kit and are so glad we have. It stared with the desire to simply extend the growing season so we could enjoy the wonderful tomatoes that were still busting out all over at the end of the season.
