Fun With Greenhouse Kits

Two years ago we decided to invest in a greenhouse kit and are so glad we have. It stared with the desire to simply extend the growing season so we could enjoy the wonderful tomatoes that were still busting out all over at the end of the season. We looked at a lot of greenhouse kits before we decided on the one we bought. We did get one that was bigger than we thought we needed and it has ended up being a great decision. Henri Rousseau (1844-1910) was the artist behind Jungle Sunset Tapestry. Rousseau was a French painter, born in Laval France. He taught himself to paint, and although he didn’t have formal training, his works are still some of the best in the world. He was also called Le Dounaier, having a held a small post in the customs service in Paris before he went on to retire and focus solely on painting. Read the rest of this entry »

No one would ever say that Victorian life was simple, but the designs now known as Victorian Stained Glass were spectacular examples of intricate design and superior craftsmanship.
