After driving through an older neighborhood and seeing the many run down sheds at the back of the ally I thought I would let you in on a few things that can really help prolong the life of a metal shed. I have owned a 10 x 8 Colossus for about 5 years now and it still looks brand new. One of the main reasons is because I made sure it was placed on level ground with a good foundation before it was ever installed. This is very important for a shed that is tin or metal because they can easily bend if you’re not careful.

The next thing is to remember when you are dealing with outdoor sheds you have to consider the elements in your area. If you live where you get high winds then you must make sure your shed is anchored well on its foundation. You also need to watch out for anything that can fall or hit the metal and ding or dent it up. That means to place the shed in an open spot where limbs and other debris cannot easily bang into it and the final thing is to clean it at least twice a year and do it on a day where the sun is hot and bright and the shed will dry quickly.

Two years ago we decided to invest in a greenhouse kit and are so glad we have. It stared with the desire to simply extend the growing season so we could enjoy the wonderful tomatoes that were still busting out all over at the end of the season. We looked at a lot of greenhouse kits before we decided on the one we bought. We did get one that was bigger than we thought we needed and it has ended up being a great decision.

We ended up with an Easygrow Greenhouse. It came with a lot of the accessories included that we felt we needed to do the greenhouse growing right. I have to admit that I was a little scared about jumping into this type of gardening because I had never tried it before or been around greenhouses. It’s one thing to think you might like something and another to actually experience it! Luckily for me, it has been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences I have ever had. I love the fact that we can grow more plants yearly as well as plan our garden for spring, summer and fall crops just makes me a happy camper. It may not be for you but if you think it is; go for it, you will be glad you did!

Henri Rousseau (1844-1910) was the artist behind Jungle Sunset Tapestry. Rousseau was a French painter, born in Laval France. He taught himself to paint, and although he didn’t have formal training, his works are still some of the best in the world. He was also called Le Dounaier, having a held a small post in the customs service in Paris before he went on to retire and focus solely on painting.

The striking quality in Jungle Sunset is the reason why many art collectors, as well as homeowners with an eye for style and exquisite detail, always request this particular painting for their home decorating needs. Not only is Jungle Sunset available as a simple print. Many artists can be commissioned to paint a replica of this painting, using such diverse materials such as water color paper, artist canvas or even a canvas with varnish. You can also order wall prints, wall fabric decoration, weaving or tapestries of Jungle Sunset online. Most online sellers include other materials such as finials and rods that can help you install your Jungle Sunset in the easiest way possible. Whatever style you choose, whether it be on paper or on canvas, whether it’s a simple poster or a beautiful tapestry, there is no doubt that Jungle Sunset is the perfect addition for your home. Hang this onto your living room or dining room for as a conversation piece your family and friends will surely love.

If you’re out looking for a special gift this year, be it for a wedding, housewarming, birthday or anniversary gift, you might want to temporarily turn your attention back to a different, more romantic time. No one would ever say that Victorian life was simple, but the designs now known as Victorian Stained Glass were spectacular examples of intricate design and superior craftsmanship. I’m happy to say that all is not lost.

The Ribbons and Flowers, Stained Glass Fire Place Screen is a wonderful example of the beauty of Victorian times, echoed in this Tiffany Style Screen. It has been made using the old construction process known as copper foil and no fewer than 1,044 pieces of stained glass, all within a frame of solid brass, have gone into this work of art. It won’t withstand the fire’s heat in the winter. This screen is purely decorative, but what a great job it does at decorating. Created in three panels with an overall width of 44 inches and 34 inches high, all three panels are capped with a semi-circular stained glass frame that could have easily been incorporated into the doors and windows of some older homes.
